CCMC's 2026 Virtual Symposium will once again bring together a diverse audience spanning several practice settings and areas of expertise. The Commission’s goal is to offer a forum for sharing knowledge, ensuring attendees receive real-world takeaways and interact with other participants.
Client advocacy professionals such as case managers, disability management specialists, public health workers, social workers, and other related subject matter experts are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration. Client advocacy professionals represent the interests of clients in complex health, social, employer, and community settings, ensuring that clients’ needs and concerns are addressed.
We know that you have unique qualifications from your work in the field and can offer valuable insight to attendees. If you are interested in speaking during the Virtual Symposium, please complete the Call for Speaker Abstracts form no later than February 26, 2026*. (Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.)
Abstracts should introduce innovative and timely perspectives related to care delivery across the continuum and include how to relate integrated client advocacy professional topics, personal experiences, storytelling, and case studies when possible. Content should be engaging, evidence-based, and practice-informed. Themes to consider when designing your abstracts are listed below:
- Behavioral / Mental Health / Motivational Interviewing
- Burnout / Resilience / Self-Care
- Environmental Health and Workplace Safety
- Ethics
- Leadership / Communication / Emotional Intelligence
- Leave and Absence Management / Work Accommodations
- Legal / End-of-Life Care
- Maternal and / or Pediatric Case Management
- Merit, Fairness, Equity, and Belonging (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)
- Population Health / Access to Care / Community or Rural Healthcare
- Psychological Safety of Working in Teams
- Social Drivers of Health
- Technology
- Workers' Compensation / Disability Management
*Sessions of a promotional/commercial nature will NOT be accepted as part of the main education program. Session content may not promote products and/or services that have a commercial interest or a financial relationship with the presenter. Speaker Compensation:
- CCMC's Virtual Symposium will offer one complimentary Virtual Symposium registration per speaker for each accepted submission (limit of up to two presenters per session proposal, non-transferable). No additional compensation will be provided beyond the offer of one complimentary registration per speaker (up to two speakers per session).
